dbh - Disk based hashtables

Disk based hashes is a method to create multidimensional binary trees on disk. This library permits the extension of database concept to a plethora of electronic data, such as graphic information. The package can be found here. To install the package, untar the downloaded tar archive into you local pkgsrc tree, change to databases/dbh and type make install.

geheimnis - A graphical PGP/GnuPG shell

Geheimnis is a KDE application that "wraps" around encryption programs and their irksome command-line interface, making it easier for users to use these programs. It is made in the style of Win31's PGP Shells that were GUI-based wrappers around PGP2. The package is currently under heavy development, but will hopefully be ready for submission soon, until then you can get the package from here. To install the package, simply untar the downloaded file into your pkgsrc root directory, change to security/geheimnis and type make install. There is also a binary package build on a recent NetBSD/i386 1.6 system available for download here.

gtetrinet - A multiplayer tetris game

Gtetrinet is a small tetris like multiplayer game, a clone of the popular Tetrinet game for Microsoft Windows 9x/NT. The package was submitted to pkgsrc on Dec 12 2002. I'll keep an old binary package build on a recent NetBSD/i386 1.6 system available for download here.

kreatecd - CD creation tool for KDE3

KreateCD is a fullfeatured graphical CD creation tool for X/KDE3. The package is currently awaiting its submission, until then you can get the package from here. To install the package, simply untar the downloaded file into your pkgsrc root directory, change to sysutils/kreatecd and type make install.

pkg_tarup - Tarup installed packages

pkg_tarup is a small utility for creating software package distributions from installed packages. It was originally written by Hubert Feyrer and rewritten by me, cause I need some more features with it. The new version 1.1 will be committed as soon as Hubert gets time to do it. Until then, you can get the package from here. To install the package, create (or empty) the directory pkgtools/pkg_tarup in your pkgsrc tree, untar the downloaded file into the specific directory and type make install. There is also a binary package build on a recent NetBSD/i386 1.6 system (the package should work on every system/arch where perl>=5.0 is available) avaiable for download here.

PPower4 - A PDF presentation post processor

PPower4 is used to post process presentationen in PDF format which were prepared using LaTeX to add dynamic effects. The PDF files must have been created with either pdflatex, vlatex or with standard LaTeX and the converted to PDF with dvipdfm. It is strongly recommended to use the Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the results, because other viewers do not implement some of the special features. For further information see the PPower4 manual. The package can be found here. To install the package, untar the downloaded tar archive into you local pkgsrc tree, change to print/PPower4 and type make install.

quanta3 - A webdevelopment editor for KDE 3

Quanta is an advanced webdevelopment editor for KDE 3. The package will be committed soon, as I already sent the files to the current quanta maintainer. Until then, you can get the package from here. In addition, you can also get the documentation updated for Quanta 3 here. To install the packages, create the directories www/quanta3 and www/quanta3-docs in you pkgsrc tree and untar the downloaded files into the specific directory and type make install. I also created a Quanta docs package that can be used with both the Quanta2 and Quanta3 packages, it can be found here.

VI Improved - A VI clone with X11/Motif GUI

VI Improved (X11/Motif)VI Improved (Vim) is an almost compatible version of the UNIX(TM) editor Vi. Many new features have been added: multi level undo, syntax highlightning, command line history, on-line help, filename completion and block operations, just to name a few. This version also contains a X11/Motif Graphical User Interface (GUI). The package can be optained here. To install the package change to editors/vim-motif in you local pkgsrc tree (must be a post 20030215) and type make install.
