The developers use mailing lists and IRC to communicate. Sourcecode is hosted on Gnome CVS.

Dozens of people have access to the CVS server and at least 20 regularily contribute code. Nevertheless there are no problems.

Gimp 1.2.0 finally appeared on December 25th 2000. The current version is 1.2.1.
