Kernel 2.1.129 seems to compile and run fine after applying a patch by Jay Estabrook. The patch is scheduled to be included in 2.1.130 but I did not yet check this. The patch came through on the axp-mailing-list and can be downloaded here. Remove the mail header from this patch before trying to apply it!

A new version of a fast mathlib replacement library has been released as libffm.0.28.tar.gz. You can download it from our ftp server or from the original site at http://people.frankfurt.netsurf.de/Joachim.Wesner/libffm.0.28.tar.gz.

I have compiled a mp3 encoder with it and saw a speedup of about 10%, very nice!
The new version of the mp3 encoder even shows about 17% speedup using libffm!
