The BSD daemon originally was done by John Lasseter. The copyright holder for these images is Marshall Kirk McKusick <mckusick@mckusick.com>.

This vector version has been done by Simon Budig <simon@budig.de> for a pin available at http://www.kernelconcepts.de/products/fun/pins.shtml.

Feel free to redistribute this artwork. If you modify the image please keep my email-address in the files. I'd be happy if you send modified images back to me, so that I can include them on http://www.home.unix-ag.org/simon/bsdaemon/.

Please be aware that you might need a permission from the copyright holder if you want to use the daemon. Details are available at http://www.mckusick.com/beastie/mainpage/copyright.html.

You do not need to ask me for permission to use this vector version of the daemon. However, If you use this daemon to create something neat (merchandizing stuff, t-shirts etc.) I'd be very happy if I could have a copy of the stuff you made.
